At SE Custom Home Designs, I help bring homes to life on paper before they’re built in real life. As a Residential Design Professional, I create custom home plans and design solutions that help homeowners and builders move confidently into construction. My work goes beyond drawing plans — I turn ideas into thoughtful, functional designs that balance style, practicality, and the way people actually live.
From new homes and additions to renovations, finished basements, and custom interior millwork, I provide full construction-ready plan sets tailored to each project’s goals. My goal is to create spaces that feel intentional, personal, and ready to bring to life.

My Story
My interest in residential design started early, back in middle school, when my father brought home a design program and asked me to take a look at it. What started as simple curiosity quickly turned into a real fascination with floor plans, homes, and the way thoughtful design can shape how people live. From that point on, I was drawn to architecture and the process of turning ideas into something tangible.
Over time, that interest evolved into hands-on design experience. Early in my career, I worked in custom millwork design, creating detailed work for bars, restaurants, entertainment spaces, and private residences. That experience sharpened my eye for detail and taught me how important it is for every element of a design to not only look right, but work right.
In 2012, a friend asked me to design a house plan, and that project reconnected me with residential design in a way that felt personal and meaningful. After seeing the finished plans, the general contractor asked me to take on additional projects, and from there the work began to grow through word of mouth. What started as one opportunity steadily built into what is now SE Custom Home Designs.
What I value most about residential design is that it is deeply personal. A home is where families grow, memories are made, and everyday life happens. That is what makes this work so rewarding to me. I believe every home should feel intentional, functional, and designed around the people who live there.
My approach depends on the client. Some people come in with a strong vision and want a designer who can help refine and develop their ideas. Others need more guidance and want someone to lead the creative process. I enjoy both. No matter the starting point, my goal is always to create a home that feels thoughtful, personal, and true to both the client and its setting.
I’m especially drawn to homes with character, detail, and a sense of story. Whether the design is traditional, modern, farmhouse, or something in between, I believe a well-designed home should feel authentic to the people who live in it and natural to the environment around it.

I believe the best homes are the ones that feel personal, functional, and thoughtfully designed from the inside out. To me, good design is not about forcing a signature style — it’s about listening to the client, paying attention to the details, and creating a home that feels true to both the people living in it and the place it belongs.
